Inspiration, to me, happens like a laboratory experiment. Each interesting thing that happens in my presence is like a chemical in a test tube. Every once in a while, when my mind wanders, I try pouring one tube’s contents into another.
When something explodes in my face, I have a story idea.

Ms. Mika, I hope part 2 to your book is what blows out next. It was at your book signing in Hampton, VA that you stopped me in the mall and convinced me to buy your book. I’m so glad I did. I finished it that night and read it whenever I need a dose of some good drama. Ever since, I’ve been checking online and in book stores for the follow-up. Your talent is evident and you’s a bad sistah if I may say so myself. Many urban authors can only hope 2 deliver the way you have in that book. Stay mixin it up in the lab and keep them coming… Please!!
